Prayer requests for week commencing Monday 12th July

Whether you join our 9am Morning Prayer on Monday to Thursday in zoom or pray during your own quiet time each day, we invite you to join us in praying for the following topics this week.  If you have any prayer requests please email Rev Sally or text her if you have her number.  We pray for healing for those who are sick and grieving daily. Monday  12 July – Pray for the life groups, as they continue the new series of study on the Promises Kept by God, for growth in knowledge of the scriptures and good fellowship in the groups.
 
Tuesday  13 July – Pray that the Government will have the wisdom to continue to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, and will have the best policies to balance the health and wellbeing of the people and the economy of the country.
 
Wednesday  14 July –  We thank you for the work of Interserve and the Increase Association. Pray for God to guide, as they look to him for his priorities for the Increase Association for the next 5 years.
 
Thursday  15 July – For Bishop Sarah as she lead the London Diocesan Synod meeting this evening, for wisdom and courage to make decisions that help all churches in London flourish as we come out of lockdown. Rev Sally is our clergy representative on London Diocesan Synod. Please also pray for Xena (Sally’s dog) who is having surgery today to remove a small lump.
Friday  16 July –  Pray for the health and wellbeing of the people as we move to Step 4 of the Government roadmap on 19 July when the lockdown restrictions will be lifted. Pray that the number of the new COVID-19 cases will be under control.
Saturday  17 July – Pray for Calvin and Agi as they get married at St Margaret’s Church today, that their love for each other and the Lord will grow. Please pray for the family and friends who are helping to make this a special day for the happy couple.
Sunday 18 July – For Powerpraisers afternoon service for children and parents to know God’s love for them, and for the Children’s ministry team leading the bible stories and craft.
