On Sunday 4th August at 11am at St Margaret’s we have special guests from Pakistan and the USA. We will be welcoming Pastor Naeem Nasir the founded of Good Samaritan Ministries, who partners with Hammad and Sally in their ministry in Pakistan. He is bringing with him Rev’d Reg W Miller the Founder of All Nations Bible College and Seminary – South Carolina USA. We are delighted that Rev Miller will be preaching at our morning service from Colossians 2. There will also be an opportunity to pray for Pastor Naeem and his ministry in Pakistan. Hammad will be leading worship and we will be sharing testimonies from our week away at New Wine (see below for more details)…
Rev’d Reg W Miller, a former Methodist minister, studied music at Charleston Southern University, has a Masters of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, and a Doctor of Divinity from Indiana Christian University. He founded All Nations Bible college and Seminary in 1975 and has been an apostle to the nations through the graduates of his Bible Colleges over the years.
He regularly visits Pakistan to bring the good news of the gospel and to empower church leaders to minister to persecuted Christians in Pakistan. He works closely with his former student, Pastor Naeem Nasir, of Good Samaritan Ministries.
Thank you for your prayers for our group who are camping at New Wine this week. After getting washed out on day 1, we have survived with rain and wind and one very sunny day. The teaching from Jordon Seng in the main Arena has been inspirational, with plenty of opportunities for prayer and ministry time. We are learning new songs and being uplifted by worship daily. The experience of camping together in a big group is challenging as well as building community and strengthening relationships within the group. We have plenty of opportunity to serve each other and do the washing up!
We will be sharing testimonies on Sunday morning of how God has been speaking to us this week and bringing transformation in our lives.
Thank you to everyone who came and helped make our St Margaret’s Open Day a great success. The Mayor of Barnet and her Consort, pictured above with the Clergy Team, thoroughly enjoyed her visit including the tour of the Churchyard and climbing the Church Tower to see the stunning views over London. We were blessed to have a number of our Growing Leaders youth helping with setting up, manning stalls and packing away afterwards. A great family event enjoyed by all.
